La Michoacanita specializes in paletas, mouthwatering Mexican popsicles that come in diverse and unique flavors. The standout choices include:

But La Michoacanita isn’t just about popsicles. Elotes, or corn snacks, offer a savory complement to the sweet treats. Try the Esquite Grande, a large cup of delicious corn, or elevate it with Cheetos for a fun twist. The Postres section also shines with delights like the soft and moist Slice Cake 3 Milks, perfect for those looking for a soft end to their meal.
Families and groups will find this spot an ideal gathering place. While Raina T. mentioned slightly higher prices, she assured us that "everything was delicious," showcasing that quality comes with a slight premium. The vibrant décor and quick service make it enjoyable for all ages, enhancing your dessert experience.
Whether you’re craving a $4.99 paleta or an indulgent $12.47 mangonada, La Michoacanita Paleteria y Neveria is sure to leave you with a smile. Very modern and photo centric ice cream shop. The place is well decorated and has music. With a vast array of ice creams, be sure to look all the way around the bar to the register. They also offer free samples and the guy behind the counter was very nice and happy to explain what they all were. Be sure to try a few before deciding! If you're interested in other desserts, they have cakes and others listed on the menu. There are also snack stands! A great place to stop by and grab some ice cream!

The best spot ever. Sooo delicious.Feels like childhood when I come back to this spot thank you so much!!

This is the best place that I can find so far for this type of delicious dessert desserts. I mean once you walk in you are in transit with sugary delicious deliciousness. The server was great and they recommended something. I've never tried before and it was great as well. We will definitely be back again.

Really appreciate this dessert place that has unique flavors and a party atmosphere. They have agua frescas here, ice cream, and desserts for every palette. Fruity, chocolate, sour, they have it all. Quick service and a convenient location on El Camino.

When we stepped in after a great dinner, the place was bumpin' with music and colorful interior decorations! They had all kinds of sweets and desserts to choose from! I ended up getting a medium size of the guava and soursop ice cream which tasted more like a sorbet with fruit bits in it! It was super refreshing and not overly sweet! The staff there were all friendly and let us try some samples of the flavors. The only con I would say is some items are on the pricier side. We got 2 ice cream, one chocolate covered banana, and 2 pastries and it was almost $40. However, everything was delicious and the desserts are standouts in terms of flavors and varieties compared to the basic offerings in the area. I would definitely recommend coming here at least once and trying some tropical fruit flavors!

New spot. We were lucky find parking they have 4 parking spots. There is street parking and it's worth it! Lots of options and different ice cream flavors and paletas. Ice cream was good. I also but paletas but haven't tried it yet. The worker let my husband try tequila ice cream yes tequila. He said it was good. She was very helpful. They have lots to chose from. Spot is small but cute. They have back room with a couple seats and tables as well. Will definitely go back!

When I first saw that a paleteria (popsicle shop) was opening up near me, I was stoked! I'm not sure if it's the unique fruit ice creams, the paletas (popsicles) or the botanas (snacks) but shops like these are nostalgic. I was sooo excited they make Pepino Loco. The three flavors I chose were mango, lime and soursop. They also carry mangonearas and duritos but I only order the Pepino Loco. I'm definitely coming back soon! The establishment - Parking is limited. I didn't see a parking lot but most people parked on El Camino. - During my visit I didn't see tables - Cards are accepted but there's a discount with cash purchases Customer Service - The staff was friendly and welcoming - Samples are available - There was a line but it went by fast ( don't get discouraged by the line)

Just opened this past weekend - San Bruno's newest dessert place! Solid paleteria and ice cream place. Lots of different unique ice cream flavors. My mom tried a baby scoop ($3.15) of the coffee/almond, and really enjoyed the strong coffee flavor (not too sweet!) and crunch of the nuts. Baby scoop is truly a small scoop, but it was perfect sized for her. There's fewer of the American tradition basic flavors aside from bubblegum, oreo, and chocolate, but lots of harder-to-find flavors like strawberry milk, walnut, eggnog, tamarind, guava, mamey. Wide assortment of popsicle (paleta) flavors, and my dad enjoyed his jamaica popsicle. Like many other paleterias, there's an assortment of other sweet and savory items like raspados, chocolate covered bananas, esquites, tostilocos. Menu listed agua frescas at $9.35 which seemed really steep. I got the mangonada ($12.47) which is on the pricier end for mangonadas, but had 3 small scoops of mango sorbet in it (instead of just crushed ice) so it was mango-y and delicious. Lots of chopped mango, some fresh and some frozen. Plenty of snacks to buy in the store and at the cash register, though also not cheap. Bright colorful store, about 5-6 parking spots in a small lot but also plenty of neighborhood parking. Friendly staff who not only helped w/ice cream samples, but helpfully offered recommendations and explanations based on what they saw my mom eyeing. Will definitely return with the kids for a fun treat, and to try their bionico ($11.43, +$2.08 for grande). Welcome to San Bruno, La Michoacanita!

I visited today, on their second day open. You can tell they are still trying to figure it out, but are doing well. There is more than ice cream! There are many different times of snacks, Corn, chips, drinks, and desserts. Once you order, you walk around to the left and you'll wait for your order and pay. I had the Mangonada and my girlfriend had the strawberry ice cream. She absolutely loved her ice cream, because it had pieces of strawberry in it and she said it was better than 31 flavors. My mangonada was huge, with mango ice cream, chunks of delicious mango and their special sauce. It was delicious! It was also not small and can be shared by two people. Good luck guys!!!
